experience the magnificent excursions to visit Philae Temple, the Unfinished Obelisk, and Aswan High Dam (the latter dating back to 1960). First stop of the day will be a visit the Philae Temple which was dedicated to the Goddess Isis, this Temple was dismantled and reconstructed on Agilika Island after Aswan Dam was constructed. Continue your tour to visit the Unfinished Obelisk which belonged to Queen Hatshepsut. This Obelisk weighs about 1200 tons and is approximately 42m in height. Finally ending with a visit to the Aswan High Dam which was constructed in 1960 and completed in 1970. Its main function is to protect Egypt from the annual floods as well as providing storage of water for agriculture.
