Hot Air Balloon Ride Trip in Luxor

The day will begin with a pickup from your Luxor hotel at dawn. Initially, this hot air balloon tour begins at the West Bank, and yourLuxortt Travel Services representative will take you there. Soft drinks will be waiting for you as you arrive at the port of departure, setting the mood for an enjoyable trip, Then you will be transferred to the take off area where you are going to start your balloon ride in the sky of the biggest open-air museum, Luxor. Following a safety briefing and introduction to your ground crew and pilot, you will rise gently into the still-dark sky. The tranquility and beauty of the early-morning sun rising over the East Bank, illuminating the city of Luxor and surrounding mountains, is something you will never forget. To the east, you can see Karnak Temple greeting the morning sun, while adjacent to the West there’s the magnificent Hatshepsut Temple. You’ll see the Colossi of Memnon rise from the crop fields and, winds permitting, fly over the Ramesseum for an unrivaled aerial view of the complex. In the distance, the hidden Valley of the Queens rests peacefully in the mountains.

The "Balloon Ride" trip departs everyday, however confirmation in advance is still highly recommended. The balloon ride takes 45 minutes then you will be transferred back to your hotel.

• The Balloon is scheduled to take off between 03:00 am and 04:00 am. in summer and between 04:00 am and 5:00 am. in winter and the ride takes 45 minutes
• Departure time may vary depending on sunrise time
• The hotel pick-up takes place 45 minutes before take-off scheduled time
• Your tour manager will tell you the exact Pickup time a day prior

  • Do not attempt to lean outside the basket while taking pictures during the flight time of the balloon.
  • Be mindful of the wind conditions and take necessary precautions.
  • We follow the Tourism Ministry regulation and we do not fly in bad weather.
